Makima is a mystery wrapped in an enigma and more than willing to use that to her advantage. She has one goal in this world and even if she ends up losing, it's still a win in her book.

Being the Control Devil, there are few creatures who can resist bowing at her feet even when she's not deliberately using her power. The desire to do her bidding is something that is emitted through her body as naturally as it is for a human to inhale and exhale the air around them.

Makima has been around long enough to remember things like World War II, though her appearance would suggest otherwise. Time and experience are both on her side, but what is it that drives her to work Japan's public safety division?

calm - Makima is capable of remaining levelheaded during the most intense situations, which provides her an upperhand over her opponet.

determined - Whatever she sets her mind on, she gets it no matter the cost. There are few things in this world that actually matter to Makima. In fact, it's all a game of chess and she's well aware of the many advantages her power affords her.

charming - She is the living embodiment of the saying, catch more bees with honey. Even when she calls people her dogs (right to their face), she says it so eloquently and with such sweetness in her tone, that it leaves them begging for more of her attention. She shows no outward hatred towards anyone and would rather leave them guessing as to where they stand.

arrogant - (to an extent). She views most people/devils as being inferior to herself, though some do possess a degree of value if they're capable of being good dogs/tools.

distant - while she can give the illusion that she's close to people, everyone is actually kept at a distance. However, that's not to say she doesn't crave a connection. In fact, there is a part of herself that wishes to establish some sort of relationship with someone that isn't influenced by her power. To find one who can be her equal is the dream.

dominating - often times she will refer to people as her dogs and views herself as their master. while this means that they're under her control, she also considers herself responsible for their wellbeing. good dogs are fed and protected, bad dogs are put down.

manipulative - has been known to use promises of dates and kisses to act as an incentive to get what she wants from those who are clearly smitten with her.

it doesn't matter if the creature is a lowly rat or one of the most powerful devils in existence because for the most part, she can control it. Makima can also summon their power through a chain that is connected to her body.

forced manipulation

this allows her to manipulate an invisible force that is capable of crushing her enemies by making a crushing gesture with her hands or by forming a gun with her fingers and saying bang when she shoots it. This ability is fairly similar to darkness devil's power.

memory loss/manipulation

once something is under her control, they appear to experience memory loss of what they were just doing and what they end up doing while under her control. she's also capable of making an individual hear her voice in their head and commanding their devils.
